To be a great recruitment consultant you need excellent communication skills, a confident personality, experience in sales or in people facing roles and you must have a degree. You’ll also be someone who thrives in a fast-paced target-based environment.
Being a Recruitment consultant is awesome, no two days are the same, you build a network of contacts in your chosen industry as well as developing professional communication and negotiation skills. You get to work in a team environment with strong work cultures and the pay is great (70-90K 1st year, 90-120K 2nd year).
