We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join our team at Fat Chef.

Fat Chef is a newly established casual dining restaurant chain. We are hoping to be one of the busiest Greek infused modern Australian restaurant chains in Melbourne.

We pride ourselves on our consistent quality of customer service, great food and exceptional coffee. If like us, you are passionate about hospitality and are wanting to join a company that values their staff and respects the team then this is the job for you!

Fat Chef are looking for individuals who are driven and passionate about delivering a high level of service to our customers. The right candidates will compliment and lead our team with passion, energy and skill.

You will be joining a team of like minded individuals under a very strong management structure and be expected to have a positive and friendly attitude and be open to learning under a very strong management team. The right candidate will have the opportunity for career growth and progression within the company.

The successful applicant will need to have:

A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a managerial position at a faced paced reputable restaurant
Very strong leadership qualities, professionally supervise, train, motivate and co-ordinate high performing staff independently whilst maintaining an exemplary standard of service.

Successful candidates must lead by example and therefore are immensely proactive, always wellgroomed, have attention to detail and uphold high standards of health, safety and hygiene

Always ensure that the reputation and ethos of the establishment is upheld regardless ofcircumstances.

Extensive wine, food, coffee and product knowledge.

Strong organisational, problem solving and decision making skills

Regardless of time restraints you must always be able to meet targets and budgets.

Stock control skills

Very extensive food, coffee, wine and product knowledge

Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a team

Your ability to deliver and maintain a customer experience that is of a consistently high service standard will see you excel in this position. As will the ability to lead a team and pass your skills and knowledge onto keen hospitality people seeking a career within this industry.

All candidates must be able to speak English and hold avalid RSA certificate.
