Key Responsibilities:

Take full ownership of support issues from diagnosis through to resolution
Record and track all support issues through our ticketing system
Manage online content through our custom-built CMS
Check system functionality against software deliverables and provide feedback
Report any bugs and edge cases
Identify and recommend how we can continuously improve our support and customer experience

Key Requirements:

Strong verbal and written communication skills!
Resourceful in finding answers themselves whilst also knowing when to escalate/seek help from others
Ability to quickly learn and use various systems
Strong attention to detail
Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS favourable but not essential
Experience with content management systems. eg WordPress highly favourable
Experience with a ticketing system favourable
Effectively multitask and manage competing priorities
Team player – ready to contribute whatever it takes or play any role on a team to get the job done
Enjoys a fast paced environment and is comfortable with change
Excellent time management & organisational skills

Australian Training Company has an exciting entry level opportunity available for an enthusiastic, committed and focused person with a keen interest in Information Technology. The successful candidate will be completing a Certificate III in Information Technology. The location for this role is in a school environment supporting teacher’s IT requirements in the Western Sydney area.

This is a full time role, that will be providing technical and user support while receiving on and off the job training. Previous experience or qualifications are not essential although a background in IT at the HSC level completing IPT or VET IT or equivalent will be desirable. Would highly suit a 2016 HSC leaver.

You will need to have an aptitude for learning technical tasks and systems with the ability to troubleshoot IT issues. You should be able to get on with tasks independently or as part of a team. Good communication skills are a must while you follow instruction and show initiative in the
workplace. The ability to work across both MAC and PC platforms is an advantage although not essential.

Own transport is an advantage but not essential.

All trainees are paid in accordance with the National Training Wage Award. Those with qualifications of Certificate III or above (including university graduates) need not apply.
