Desired Experience

 At least 2 years experience in the area of youth football skills development

 Experience in creating, developing and delivering coaching programs and session plans

 Outgoing personality with very good verbal and written communication skills ensuring the ability to engage and inspire both students and their parents

 Strong people and team skills with an ability to motivate skilled professional staff in a performance focused environment

 Ability to work unsupervised and take ownership of workloads

 Proven experience in working within Football Club’s and/or Academies

 Time management and activity management skills

 Able to manage a diverse range of programs within an annual plan

We are Melbourne’s largest soccer specific pre-school program with clinics all across Melbourne, Soccer Time Kids

We are looking for outgoing and enthusiastic casual staff who enjoy having fun and working with preschool aged children but most importantly we’re looking for someone who can keep the kids focused & entertained during the structured classes.

Candidate must have current Working with Children’s Check (or willing to obtain), First Aid, and their own car as you will be coaching across different venues. Ideal applicant must posses lots of energy and be comfortable with speaking in front of a large group of people, they must also be great with young children, reliable, organised and interested in contributing to young child’s development.

Whilst previous coaching or playing experience would be ideal, no coaching experience is necessary, as full training will be provided.

This position would ideally suit a reliable student who is studying teaching or a similar degree and who is looking for practical experience working with young children.

MUST BE RELIABLE, AVAILABLE TO WORK SATURDAY AND SUNDAY MORNING. CHILDREN AT THIS AGE NEED STABILITY AS THEY GROW AN ATTACHMENT TO THE REGULAR COACH, THIS IS WHY YOU HAVE TO BE ABLE TO COMMIT TO AT LEAST 6 MONTHS PERIOD.
