This competition is a game of chance with the goal of the lottery to promote and encourage user to provide feedback on, and tell their friends and relatives about, the Found mobile platform.
Conditions of Entry
Entry is open to users of the Found mobile application who have met the following criteria during any given prize period:
- Are 15 years or over.
- Have downloaded the Found mobile application and completed a survey about the Found app and/or encouraged friends to download the app via the referral page.
- Have provided their contact details.
- Are residents of Australia or any other country.
Directors, officers, management and employees (and their immediate families) of Found Australia Services Pty Limited are not eligible to participate in the competition.
How to Enter
There is no cost to enter the Found lottery.
Entry in the competition is automatic when a user completes a survey or referral form, via a link sent by email from Found.
The lottery will begin on Monday 25th June 2016.
The lottery will operate with regular draws (as published) until 10 June 2017. These draws will be conducted on the last Friday of every second month, starting Friday 26th August 2016.
Lottery Timing For The Regular Draw
All times indicated are for Sydney, Australia.
Entries open at 12:00pm (Sydney time) on the day of the previous draw, and close at 11:59am the day of the draw. Entries are made automatically based on completing the Candidate Survey or Referral form. The time of the entry is determined by the timestamped entry made in the Found server.
The winner will be drawn at 3pm on the last Friday of every second month.
A new weekly draw will commence at 12:00pm on the day of the draw.
The draw will occur at 3pm on the last Friday of every second month (Sydney time). The draw will occur by using the Random.org drawing service.
The Draw Procedure
At 12:00pm each draw day, the Found database server will generate a CSV file containing all entrants for the previous week. This file will contain one row for each entry ticket in the competition.
The Random.org electronic drawing system will draw the winner @ 3pm each Friday (Sydney time) and notify the Found servers via email. Upon receipt of this message Found will post the winner on a publicly available web page found on http://found.careers
Notification of Prize Winners
Prize winners will be notified via phone and email on the same day as the lottery is drawn.
Winners names will be published on a publicly accessible link accessible from the Found web site. (http://found.careers).
Found will determine the lottery prize on a draw-by-draw basis and will post the prize for the coming week on the lottery screen of our application as soon as the new lottery period commences. The prize/prizes for the current lottery period will be displayed on the entry page.
The maximum value of each prize will not exceed $250AUD and the minimum value will not be less than $100.00AUD. The prize may consist of one single larger prize, or multiple prizes each up to a maximum of $250AUD.
Prizes may not be redeemed for cash.
Prizes are not transferrable and must be claimed by the winner.
Total Prize Value for Permit Period
Total prize value value for the NSW permit period is $5,000.
Unclaimed prizes will be held by Found for 3 months while we try to contact the winner. If the winner can not be contacted, Found will seek to redraw the lottery and assign the prize to a new winner.
Prize winners may be asked to consent to their name and image being used in promotional material.
The promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this competition or accepting or using any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.
The promoter reserves the right to amend any details without notice.
